You know.....after this post has been on here for awhile, you will have several answers, all probably different. (Of course, that' s what makes this a great website) Someone will say 100 yds. Someone else will say 200 yds. Then some joker will come along and say, " my brother in law used one of them 35 Remingtons to shoot a big fork-horn at three quarters of a mile. So it must be good for at least 2 miles!"
