OK my dads gun has been handed down to me and now it is my turn to hunt with it. It is an older Marlin .35 lever action with scope in perfect shape. What I need to know is at what range is it safe to shhot a deer. I don' t like to " wound and track" . I want to make a clean kill shot. What is the range on a .35 ? Thanks for any help.
