Well you sure can't go wrong with Colorado these days. Our mule deer are back big time and we have a lot of very nice bucks roaming the state right now. There is public land all over Colorado and all hold good populations of mule deer, with some being much better than others. The northwest part of Colorado is absolutely loaded with mule deer and there is a lot of public land opportunities up there. Tags are available by draw, but most units up there are easy to draw tags for, just have to spend a few minutes applying. If you are looking for a guided hunt, I have some incredible ones and they come with landowner vouchers, so there would be no need to put in for the draw. We marry the voucher up with a Colorado archery deer tag and you are ready to hunt. You are looking at 3500-4500.00 for the guided hunts. Bucks will be in that 165-190"+ on those hunts.
