I think the 300 win mag has a edge on the 7mm mag but its not so much that I would sell one to get the other . I have owned three different 7mm mags ,but just never liked the bullet selection they had in those days ,Nosler at the time being the worst . With some of the newer bullet selection I think either one would be fine .
