Mast years for oaks are generally every 2-5 years so this may be a slow year for your acorns. It will get the deer moving around to find something for foliage and if you have a tree or two doing well then many deer will hit it up. If not I would be slightly concerned with the deer moving to another area to find food. Good luck.
