That is more or less what im doing for this years possible hunt. I want to use my 45 for closer shots at a managed hunt. Ed's 350gr fits the bill quite well with a mild load. I wont have the luxury of my tree stand or the need for extended range shots.

I had some serious doubt that a 350gr with such a large HP would perform as well as it did. I could use any ML i own including my non smokers but over penetration concerns me in this particular area. When i hunt my private land and lease its a non issue. Only me and a friend are there. Not 100 other hunters.
