I've got a 180 that I usually bring up for the summer and hunting season. I've also got lots of buddies with birds in the Anchorage area and also up in Koztebue ( one of my old stomping grounds.)The area that I'm thinking about hunting this year has produced 60+" Moose for my buddies for the last 3 years and one guy killed a 69" moose two years ago but I don't know exactley where it is<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>So in any case I'd love hook up with you some time you have places we have airplanes.
As far as my Stevens .410 with buck shot, well as Robert R said always use enough gun. I just hope it won't be to much!
I do remember something about that recurve hunt. You know if he'd had a .410 with him I bet that bear wouldn't have even gotten near those guys. Bears can tell when there's a threat near.
