I know a lot of guys here will laugh at me, but I've had good luck with the Bushnell Banner series of scopes. My coyote AR has a 3-9x40 on it for about 6 years now, and it has held up just fine.
If I were to buy a brand new scope, I would have to seriously consider the Vortex Crossfire series. They have an unlimited and unconditional lifetime warranty on them.
