I proudly use the Barnes 250 gr. Expander MZ bullets and I'm far from stupid. Practical is more like it.
For the record, I haven't told anyone what bullet they should use.

I prefer shoulder shots. If I don't have a broadside shot, I'll take a raking shot. I want the bullet to penetrate as much bone and vital organ as necessary to increase trauma for a quicker kill. Or a better blood trail if necessary.
