granddaddy never used a scope on his rifles. I guess that rubs off on me a bit. But I wouldn' t spend 200 bucks on a scope, 200 bucks for ammo or a stand or something else. I guess I got one of the " lucky" BSAs, I take care of my stuff too so that helps too. I think a scope is as good as what you make out of it. I have never had a sec trouble out of it and it has never let me down. I walked/fell down the side of a steep muddy as heck hill got my gun and me all muddy, that same night I dropped a buck at 275 yards 5 min before sun down. That was a test enough for me for my gun and the BSA. You all have your oppinions.........but you' ll never catch me buying a high dollar scope.
