There is more than just the power of the round involved. You must have a gun choked to shoot a tight pattern at the distance you want to shoot. Some shells shoot well and give a good pattern in one gun and different gun with the same choke and shells will not give a good pattern. you cannot ask for an answer to your question and get an accurate answer. You must try the shells in your gun or guns at the ranges you want shoot. Any 12 or 20 gauge will shoot to 30 yards and further, however, will it shoot a pattern tight enough to kill and not cripple is the question, only test firing at a pattern board will tell you that.
