Where are these 7 rem mag prices coming from....I was at Basspro shop yesterdayand they were a buck more a box than a 06 for Remington Corelockts... I would rather have the 7 mag for 2 reasons.


1. It shoots substantially flatter ...same recoil more muzzle blast
2. It will out penetrate an 06 because of its superior sectional density..in fact after shooting game with a 7 rem mag..300 win mag and 300 wthby mag I see no advantage of the 300 mags just increased recoil... Shooting at deer they simply crumple with the 7 mag or even a 270 for that matter but always run off dead after being hit by the 300. Same applies to Elk....
