I certainly have seen a bunch of complaining about this on the internet, but have not personally experienced it. I imagine there could easily have been some bad lot numbers over the years, most manufacturers have had them.

I do have to agree however with the mention of the Accubond. It is certainly worth considering and one of my favourites. I have never had one fail to do what they were designed to do.
I agree there may be better options out there. I see a lot of complaining about them and see a lot of success stories as well so I feel the only logical thing to do is try them and make my opinion based on my finding. And as far as the accubonds that may be a great choice. Here's my problem, my shots cld be 25 yards or 200. Never know where they will come out at and a shot will be made. How are accubonds at close range?
