Never been a Savage fan just based on looks. Always loved my Remingtons. Just ordered a new deer rifle and money was tight so the remington i wanted was out of budget. Heard nothing but good things from friends that owned Savages. So i now have a Savage Model 16 Trophy Hunter Stainless in 6.5 Creedmoor coming my way. Everyone seems to say that they are tack drivers and how they out shoot all there other rifles. Guess i will see in a few days.
