While that should work with the Barnes, with the short barrel you will have to drop your charge. Be sure the bullet you use can open at the lower velocities. Some other choices are like the Hornady XTP as many of them were designed as pistol cartridge bullets. Meant to open at slower speed.
I am sure members can tell you what bullet will work best. I read other posts about the same pistol and they were shooting 70 grains of powder. But they were taking deer. Are you going to scope the pistol? As much as I don't need another gun, that would be kind of fun to own.
I am going to scope it. I have to get to looking for one. Haven't had much time with holiday and all. I am gonna use it to take deer here in Georgia where I live. I'm gonna try to stay under 50 yards for now. Got a lot to learn. I have wanted one since it came out and cldnt wait no longer. Did they mention what powder they where usein by any chance?
