You might be better off using the magnum pellets that are 60gr each, because I don't think you are suppose to cut or crush the pellets at all.
If you are using the Barnes 250gr TMZ try using the yellow crush rib sabot from Harvester because there made for the boat tail bullet an load much easier , It made a big difference for me in my Knight.
You might even want to try the Barnes 250T-EZ in the supplied sabot or the Harvester black crush rib sabot in which are made for the flat base bullet, they are suppose to load easier in tighter barrels.
