I have the Remington 870 slugger in 20ga. I had recommended I use 2 3/4 inch Buck hammer slugs rather than the 3 inch ones. I am very happy with how well it preformed. A friend got the combo so he has a smooth bore barrel for small game hunting.

If you don't like the trigger of a 870 or the 1187 trinity makes a kit for them also.
