It all depends on who the person is.


My best friend and I will tell each other about a deer because it doesn' t matter who kills one. Actually, this season I have been trying to put him on the big bucks I have seen. He has killed several decent bucks, but nothing huge. We are in this thing together, plus, to us, we just wish that one of us is successful, doesn' t matter which one.

Now, don' t make the mistake I did this year. Don' t tell someone who is going to tell everyone in the country. I invited a friend of mine to hunt with me this year. He has never killed any big deer, and, I really wanted to put him on some big deer. Well, I told him about the 12 point that was running around my house and he went and blabbed to everyone he knew. Wouldn' t you know, some other kid killed the deer. He wasn' t even hunting that area until he found out about the 12 point I was after, then he went in and got the deer. Thats fine and good for him, it wasn' t my deer, but, when he starts making ignorant comments to my girlfriend about how he " killed my deer" , that ticked me off.

If this guy won' t tell everyone about it, then tell him.
