I really do agree shooting Orange Dirt is really rewarding. In my mind it is much more like shooting while hunting than is offered by shooting a piece of paper. So yep! shooting clays is rewarding.
When it comes to actual practice, it's hard to beat clays. You have a sense of disapointment if you miss with clays. With paper, it's still going to be visable on paper so it's not really a "miss". It forces you to 'make the shot count' much more. At least for me it does...
