We have many H&R USHs in the family. Their performance is awesome. They are all topped with Simmons Pro-Diamond scopes. They are all 4X power scopes except one of them that has a 2X power. My 12 gauge laminated camo USH is the oldest of the bunch, I bought it when the USHs first came out and the original scope is still just fine.
I'm guessing that the guns are so heavy that they eat most of the recoil and the scope doesn't get stressed too hard?
