You're gonna be limited to one or two hunters a weekend with just 540 acres. That's not a lot of land in the turkey woods. Those birds will change once spring gets here and spread out. You put a lot of pressure on them and they'll go silent and/ or move.
Leasing for the deer season will be the way to go...a lot easier for you. You need to have some idea of deer movement, so do your homework. Finding sheds now will let you know travel paths.
