dude first off you have awsome taste in turkey guns i mean the 835 and the 500 are in my mind some of the best. but if it were me i would go with the 500 it cheaper and i think after market support is better for the 500 because to hunt goose and duck you will probly need a 28 inch bbl. however a 24 inch bbl is an awsome turkey gun length. i think 20 is a might to short but just my opinion
