You are right about one thing, punching paper is not like shooting at a deer. Before compound bows came along to help the inept, my cousin shot on a league with a recurve. Every year they took on the pistol team and beat them. I hunted and killed deer with a bow so he decided to try it. ONE year. He became so rattled when he saw a deer that he would miss the whole deer. He gave up and went back to target shooting. If you can't control yourself when a deer comes along, don't take shots you can't handle.

***You are one real wiseacre with your BS speculations, as I've hunted for 60 years and have killed over 100 deer, elk, antelope, and hogs at various distances from spitting on them to over 300 yards!!! This year alone I hunted five states on a three month trip that involved the taking of a bighorn sheep, 2 bull elk, 2 cow elk, 3 antelope, and 2 mulie bucks. What were you doing this year other than shooting your mouth off on this Forum?
