He'd have to be pretty stout and in shape. I got to play a little with one of the 50 sniper rifles when I was in Iraq. I wouldn't want to tote it much more than about 200 yards. By the way, sniper nests with a 50 are usually pretty close to where the can get vehicles or land choppers for that reason, it isn't a real mobile system. If they need to hump into the boonies with a sniper rifle they usually use a .308 or a 300 Win Mag.
