Do not, I repeat DO NOT ever offer to pay anyone for wild game meat in CO!!!! Selling wild game meat in CO is illegal and has been for as long as I can remember. I'm 50 years old, was born there and it has never been legal in my lifetime. Any meat legally sold as "game" in CO is from farms that raise it for commercial purposes and is USDA inspected. Any hunter caught selling game will not be a happy camper if the DOW catches wind of it.

You can donate all the meat you want but you cannot sell it. The hunting regulations even spell out the proper steps to take. Basically, if it is processed you can donate any amount. If it is a whole carcass then there is some documentation and procedures that need to be adhered to.
