Here in southwest va they started chasing around Monday... only seeing small bucks pestering the does during the day but some real giants at night... swollen and ready to bread. Tuesday the wind kept them all bedded down.. Now its calm and back on again.. Shot an 8 pointer today but he wasn't that big.. no big bucks in daylight hours yet. Now is the time to be in the woods!!
