Shoot-thru risers have been around for many years. You have to keep wondering why they keep disappearing too! They are, in my opinion, worthless for finger shooters as I think the arrow flexes too much when shot. For release shooters, any TM Hunter style rest works well for them. One reason they may not last long could be that if you move the arrow, thus the string to the exact center of the bow, what do you do with the cables? They have to be way off center then and I would think that cam lean would be a factor. I don' t know this for sure, but it could be a reason these designs don' t last.
