If your not ready to bend the new wedge a trick you can do it test if it will fix the problem and show you how much you need to bend it...
take some duct tape. Tear it so it fits through the wedge slot on the bottom of the barrel. Put about two or three layers there and then try setting the wedge again. If its nice and solid that gives you an idea of how much bend the rifle will need. And since you have a nice tight wedge, that's a good time to go shoot...
