Well, you made me try to take a picture through the scope, even though i can't say i 'know' how. For me it was a matter of trial and error with camera location, and zoom setting, just like sabotloader described. Another thing i always seem to do is to take a whole pile of pictures, and hope one turns out. My camera is a pocket camera that has quite a long zoom, and i try to put it in a pocket whenever i leave the house, headed for the hills. The camera has given me a lot of problems with dust getting inside the lens, so i won't mention the brand. Nowaday, i put the camera in a zip-lock bag before i put it into a pocket.
