Opinions are like a$$$$$, every one has one. Look many people feel that they can shoot what they want and when the wan' t to and to a degree, they are right. But as they say, there is a season for everything. I usually see bucks up to FDD, First Day Deer, but normally see only does and some spikes afterwards. The bigger bucks go deeper and get smarter after the rut which is before FDD. I usually do not do bow so FDD is my first chance at a buck. Anyway, I will shoot the does and if I see a six pointer or above I will drool and shoot him too. Since in PA spikes are now illegal to shoot, I do try to not shot them. It just makes it harder to identify them.
