Default arrow size

i shoot a number of recurves that range from 45 to 50 #'s and out of all of them they handle 2014. 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2117. the difference is speed, trajectory. and so i shoot 2016 and have been doing so since the 60's. you will also get a little more speed out of graphite and with the 40 lbs. you will need it. you will have a hard time killing a turkey with 40 lbs. penetration is hard to come by on a turkey and don't use a large broadhead either for turkey, it will bounce off. i can tell you of many sad tales of hitting a turkey and watching the arrow fall to the ground like i hit a cement block. i have another post somewhere describing it but nobody responded

cheers
