A party hunt is where aslong as there are tags in the group, everyone can fill those tags. Say one guy shoots 8 deer, aslong as there are 8 tags between the members of the group to put on those deer its legal. That way if you fill your tag on the first day you can still hunt the rest of the season. We always have landowner and extra antlerless tags to fill as well! We killed 25 deer during 4 days of shotgun season and still had a few tags left. The state offers 75 non resident antlerless tags for Henry county where we hunt, these tags are sold first come first served. Its a way for nonresidents to hunt with thier families and not have to wait 3 years to draw a buck tag. Its still kind of expensive for a tag but you can also shoot more than one deer party hunting.
