We all have to prioritize our life and put what is important first. My family comes first which includes wife and kids. Hunting is mainly a hobby, but a realy fun hobby, and I enjoy the time I spend in the woods. But hunting comes only during certain times of the year, so I make time for hunting and put some other things aside, and try to balance things between, work, family, relatives, friends, volunteer work, yard work, and hunting. I usually have to limit my hunting so my wife does not give me too much grief, even though she will anyway. I don' t know how long your hunting season is in Indiana, but I would have gone to the Haunted House and had some fun with friends. The deer will miss you but you will probably see them again. Haloween only comes once a year.
