I am by nature not the most patient person in the world. This time of the year I really like to get up there and make some noise and mix it up a bit. I usually have good success. Rattling and grunting does not always bring bucks right to your front door step. Its not always like on those TV shows where these moster bucks just come charging in. Anytime I rattle or grunt I try to remain as perfectly still as possible and scan the thick stuff. I have seen alot bucks that come to check out the noise but never come out of the brush for a shot , they just come to investigate and when they dont see anything they leave. I like taking the agressive aproach though because when it does work and everything falls in place and you do actually take a buck that you rattled or grunted in, you feel a certain sense of accomplishment.
