Check your battery voltage with a digital meter. Any battery showing 1.0 to 1.2 volt and the camera will not work properly, or not at all. Even new batteries fresh out of the package may have a faulty one. Trail cameras go into a sleep mode to save power and wake up when they detect movement. A camera taking flash pictures at night will use up more power and if taking lots in close sequence, the camera battteries do not have time to recover some of the power. If this isn't the problem, if the camera is still under warranty, I would send it back. Moultrie cameras have a one year manufactures warranty. Good luck.
