I've been reading too many of these threads and I am slowly getting corrupted. You all know that I got a V2 (haven't shot it yet). But yesterday I went to Cabelas and low an behold they had a CVA BH209 breech plug for the V2 for only $20. I ended up buying it along with a canister of BH209. I thought I was going to the dark side when I started using Pyrodex in my caplocks but now I am almost too far gone.
This weekend (or maybe even tomorrow) I will see if all the claims about BH209 are true.
Just a couple questions - Does BH209 require heavier charges, like 100gr plus)? What do you use to clean the gun - a nitro solvent or BP substitute solvent like T17?
