Also, you should be aware that when you convert a file to a PDF, it enhances the file, sharpens the edges and smooths out text. I could actually show you proof of this if you would like.
EDIT:
I chose this one, because it demonstrates one of Acrobat's other peculiarities...it formatted some text out of alignment and not other. I hypothesize this is due to the anti-aliasing layer it automatically adds to the document using a gradient style pixelation to smooth out and change the text.
