I'm pretty sure I would have a hard time shooting a deer that visited my patio regularly. Turkeys - not so much.
But there are no deer or turkey in my suburban neighborhood. All I have are gray squirrels that come to the house all of the time. They eat from the bird feeder. They eat the new shoots on my banana trees. They eat the tender young pepper plants along with newly sprouting bean plants and lettuce. And I eat every one of those suckers that I can pop with my pellet gun. The supply seems to be endless. The ones I shoot are quickly replaced by others from the surrounding area.
