Have you tried the old tape trick? Take some paper and with a paper punch, punch a nice round hole in it. Then set the paper over the dominate eye you shoot with. Make sure the hole in the paper is centered in the part of the lens that you look through for clear vision and the paper blocks the part of the lens that makes it fuzzy. Then you are looking through a very defined area and the cross hairs should be clear and the lens clear also. You can train your eye to this pretty easy.
I have a friend that has a clip on pair of sun glasses and he drilled a hole in the one lens and with paint blacked out the rest of the lens. He clips that on his glasses and he shoots long range. He also wears trifocals. I did not know that would do that to the lens part of the scope.
