Here is what I do with the following rifles; .223, .243, 25-06, .300WM.

I sight them in to hit DEAD-ON at 25 yards. They all have similar trajectories so they are all on at 25 yards, on again at 250 yards, and approximately 2" - 2 1/2" high at about 175yards. These are give or take an inch measurements. Most are also only about 3" low at 300 yds.
