Hey Nick.. I've hunted WMA's in western, central, & eastern Ky and they're all about the same.. Hard as hell hunt.. Granted, I've only used recurves and seemed to be "just out of reach" every time.. I hunt the J. Kleber & Rich one the most because it's closer to Georgetown.. I've seen some GREAT deer there, but not close enough.. 150-160 range.. Plus they schedule the 1st quota hunt at the beginning of the rut which kills me, cause after a wknd of 100 or so people trompin' around the woods & sling'n lead, you're lucky to see a squirrel for 2 weeks but if you can hit the place hard before that wknd, you could do good.. In western KY, the TVA or Peabody WMA are good places too.. Ain't sure where you're lookin' at but hope I've helped a little bit..
