Default RE: too early for rattling?

I always rattle in the B/P season here in Central Fla.our rut usually starts in the last of Oct. or early Nov.
Last year is the first year in a loooooog time I haven' t rattled one in real close.I did get one in at about 100 yards,he stopped to look at my decoy just long enough for a shot.I missed him(don' t know why).

every year I rattle in several for me and my wife to get a shot.it is always in the last week of Oct...........then dog season opens and I am to into the dogs for rattling.[8D]

give it a try,it can' t hurt.[:-]
