Take a look at Leupold 50035 bases, with the Leupold rings that are appropriate for the hieght that your scope must be mounted. As for a scope? You used the word "cheap". Trust me. Don't go there. All of these so called scope manufacturers whose products sell for $35-$150 .... and there are at least 15 brand names with which I am familiar .... are selling "cheaply made" scopes. These $35-$100 scopes have no decent optical performance, especially in low light. And will seldom, if ever, hold up through the rigors of 2-3 typical hunting conditions.
If you are on a tight budget, stay with a well known brand anyway. Buy one of their scopes in the $100 - $150 range. Such as a Bushnell, Nikon, Vortex, Pentax, Burris, Weaver, Leupold, etc. If you can wait a while and save up $200-$250, then you can buy a pretty good scope from one of these makers.
