For the feet, you can either cut them off with a hacksaw by cutting the leg bone on either side of the spur and threading some leather through the bone holes to hang, or you can cut the legs off midway at the joint and keep them whole. If you keep them whole, you have to pose them till they are dry or the toes will curl. I also cap the end of the legs with shotgun shell brass.
