Cold front moved through and dropped water temperatures nearly 15 degrees in many locations. This is a very good thing, as process were moving way to fast and spawning activity was already beginning to occur. No fish were spawning, but small males were finding territory and it was happening too soon.
Lucky for me, I have been very fortunate on days like this and was very excited to fish it today. I have found some methods that are incredibly effective post cold-front, when most think the fish are shut down. I even left the lure used to catch on of the fish to give a hint as to my method of fishing...
Fished for less than 2 hours today, and put around 10 in the boat. Here is a few I took pictures of. Big ole girl did not quite break the six pound mark.
