You' re going about it all wrong!
What you need to do is this.........next tree you pick a tree to climb into, strap that darn " Good Luck Charm" of a Stealth Camera to the base of the tree!
You have a bunch of attention starved deer who only want to come out when they know they are on camera. You put the camera away and the deer disappeared.

Either that or they know when you leave the camera that you won' t be back for a few days so they feel safe!

Hang the camera, kill a deer. Should work like a charm!

Actually now would be a good time to hang it, and you might get an idea about when your invisible deer are using the area.
