Well Ron for one, GM does not have a flintlock drop in barrel available in .54 cal. The only flintlock barrel that GM makes to fit a T/C Hawken in a .50 cal 1:70. And secondly, I can probably buy a beat up T/C Hawken, refininsh the stock and have the barrel work done for less than a new GM barrel if I could find one in .54 and flintlock and a 1:70 twist rate.
