IMHO, that won't happen and wouldn't be a good move on Knight's part from a business stand point.the Italians can afford to supply traditional rifles to a shrinking market due to much lower production costs.Knights needs a quality and "attractive" break action rifle to compete in the market.American company's can't afford to make mistakes when there products are marketed,R&D, marketability and 100% reliability are a must.IMHO the new CVA mountain rifle will sell like hot cakes,lightweight,accurate and reliable center fires are in high demand and the people at CVA understand this and applied these highly attractive features to a M/L rifle.i want American M/L producers to survive as much as anyone,in order to do so they need to think outside the box and not reinvent the wheel.
