Knight needs a Sidelock

I think a smooth bore might be interesting. The TK 2000 won't work for round ball because it is jug choked. A 62 caliber cylinder bore could be used for turkey in the spring and deer in the fall. It would be a modern take on the trade gun...
Wait a minute, thats crazy! Semisane was this your idea?

I have had a LOT if guys want to buy my Hot Rod Hawkens, and Hot Rod Renegades. For us guys here in states that don't allow any muzzleloader we have to make due. We have a rule that says the cap must be exposed to the weather. It used to say rotating hammer and exposed to the weather. The roataing hammer was dropped. The older MK85 and those types are legal. The thing is the format of the hot rod renegade fits with guys that hunt open country mule deer. Most of them are looking for a traditional looking "tactical" muzzleloader. Something that can be dialed in at any range. If a company made these kind of fast twist hot rods yes they would sell. At least to western hunters. Scopes are not allowed in ML hunts in Idaho. Ron

but no seriously, why would they want to sell cheap round balls? If they were to make a sidelock, they will make it with a twist to support they projectiles they sell.
