Yes, over the years I have witnessed the same, not a lot, but some, you do have to understand that all does are not bred darning the "Rut" & some that are bred do not take, these does will come into estrus again post "Rut" & a sort of "Mimi Rut" will occur. It has been my experience that the more mature bucks are not all that interested (not that they won't bred, but they won't go far out of their to do it) I find a lot of young bucks exhibiting this behavior & take advantage of it.
